Stephanie and Fred Erik made this orca safari so great. They find hidden fjords and calm places where you can enjoy the orcas wild behavior. The quality of both the boat and the hotel they got us, were very satisfying!
See the whales where National Geographic and BBC come to film documentaries such as Blue Planet. Live the moment instead of watching it on a screen!
We start our arctic journey with a cruise from Tromsø to Skjervøy on board the world famous Norwegian coastal liner, the Hurtigruten . Enjoy a delicious evening meal and step out on deck to view the northern lights as we make our way to the whale feeding ground.
Explore some of the most beautiful fjords and experience the pristine arctic landscapes while searching for whales, sea eagles and more. Our marine mammal expert will introduce you to the whales of Norway and the research program through an engaging presentation.
Following the trip, we return to our hotel and relax for a little while before meeting up for dinner. Our next adventure is hunting the northern lights by foot. We take a quick Aurora photography lesson before hiking to our viewpoint. Pointing our cameras at the sky filled with dancing lights, we enjoy an evening of mystical tales of aurora folklore by the fire.
We return to explore the spectacular Norwegian fjords and experience nature at it’s best. Take part in the research and become a marine biologist for the day as we enter the realm of the whales. Participation is strictly voluntary, so those who simply want to enjoy the show are welcomed to.
In the evening we are treated to a beautiful Northern lights dinner cruise. Enjoy an evening feast on-board our boat in the Arctic waters, with a chance of listening to the whales singing under an aurora-lit sky.
In the morning we learn about whale genetics and the importance of tagging studies before heading out with our whale research vessel one last time. Every day on the water is different, and the whales, dramatic mountains and polar lights will be sure to leave you in awe.
We then begin our way to Tromsø city, also known as the Paris of the North, and drive though the spectacular Lyngen Alps. Check into a lavish hotel and unwind in the beautiful surroundings of Tromsø city.
Enjoy a 5-course dinner in one of Norway’s most highly acclaimed restaurants offering a fusion of traditional Norwegian dishes influenced by French cuisine and international dining trends.
Sleep-in, relax and enjoy the comfort of the hotel before checking-out. An extra night’s accommodation and additional activities can be added for an extra cost depending on availabilities.
For example, add a dog sledding adventure in the heart of Norway’s wilderness or go reindeer sledding and let the Sami, the indigenous people of Norway teach you about their culture through captivating story telling.

Stephanie and Fred are operating a family business and I believe it is a completely different experience than a regular touristic boat. Stephanie, a biologue, gave us a very informative presentation about whales. In the end we are happy to see a bunch of orcas and a humpback.
