Stephanie and Fred Erik made this orca safari so great. They find hidden fjords and calm places where you can enjoy the orcas wild behavior. The quality of both the boat and the hotel they got us, were very satisfying!
Wild Seas Trollfjord & Wildlife Cruise with Guided Kayaking: Enjoy a boat cruise from Svolvær to stunning Skrova island, Lofoten’s little Hawaii and paddle through breathtaking views. Indulge in a guided kayak experience with spectacular landscapes teaming with wildlife.
Trollfjord & Wildlife Cruise
Explore the extraordinary Lofoten islands and discover Trollfjord, a narrow fjord bordered by steep-sided mountains. The white-tailed sea eagle is one of the main attractions in the area, but we can also observe a variety of sea birds, seals, porpoises and whales if we are lucky! After visiting the fjords, we go to Skrova island for the next adventure.
The guide greets you and briefs you on easy paddling techniques as well as safety procedures. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a kayak expert to come on our trips; first time paddlers are as welcomed as highly skilled ones.
Paddle around this charming island rich in Norwegian culture and scenic landscapes. The Caribbean-like islands with white sandy beaches and jagged mountains will leave you in awe. If we are lucky, we will meet wildlife along the way to make this trip unforgettable.
*Must be at least 10 years old and 120 cm to join this trip.
We can prepare a delicious baguette sandwich and hot soup for an additional cost (must order at least 24 hours in advance). Vegetarian/vegan options are available.
Visit Skrova Island
There are several photography exhibitions along the roads and nice sites to see. The locals are always eager to meet us, and the Whalers’ Pub & Eatery is a great place to unwind and eat delicious food! Please note you may need to take the ferry back to Svolvær.

Stephanie and Fred are operating a family business and I believe it is a completely different experience than a regular touristic boat. Stephanie, a biologue, gave us a very informative presentation about whales. In the end we are happy to see a bunch of orcas and a humpback.
